Kidzoona Nuvali

The last stop of our field trip is Kidzoona located at 2/L, Solenad 3 Nuvali, Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Before I even start with Kidzoona I just wanted to say I’m really mesmerized by how beautiful Nuvali is. I’m so taken by it I forgot to take pictures of the beautiful sceneries.
Koi Feeding Nuvali Laguna
Before we left for Kidzoona we participated in the Koi Feeding activity. Those bouncing eye candies acting like puppies are so adorable. I wish I can touch them. I wonder how they taste. OK let’s move on to Kidzoona.

Kidzoona rates:
Child: Php300/90 minutes or Php450/3 hours = Free (1) Parent or Guardian per one child. Additional 150 will be paid for an extra guardian.
(Our group was signed up for the 3 hour period. Yeeeeeeeeeey!)
Php100 charged for every 30 minute extension
At the entrance you need to please sanitize even if the receptionist failed to remind you and have your kids sanitize too it will be good for all of us. ☺
Next is we have to leave our shoes inside the lockers, socks are required to go inside. So if you happen to plan on wearing sandals or slippers on your way at least bring a pair of socks with you.

The Kidzoona Pink Mascot is Lala chan she was introduced later that day. Before that the kids had a mini event where they have to raise against each other and collect flowers. After they all collected it the last rider will bring it all back from where they got it. I’m so happy my son’s team won. They received one balloon each as their prize.

Kidzoona also features Educational Playstations. They have a make shift hospital, fire station, grocery, fast food complete with equipment.

Our son enjoyed it so much he cried so hard when we’re about to leave. His teacher even offered that we can stay for 30 minutes longer but it’ll be the same thing so we decided to leave.
We are really happy with our experience at Kidzoona. The place and the crew, are awesome. The people there looks like they are happy with what they’re doing and they genuinely like kids. We plan to go back soon!

Residence Inn Mini Zoo

One of our field trip destination is Residence Inn Mini Zoo in Tagaytay.

Sceneries are wonderful we took a lot of pictures with this as the background. One of its attraction is zip line but we are unable to try it because we lack the time.

Since it’s just a mini zoo, you can’t expect a lot of animals. We enjoyed walking around though I think it’s best to go there in the morning or late in the afternoon so it wouldn’t be so hot.

The best part of our tour is when our son gets to play with the parakeets. He enjoyed it a lot we had to go in twice. He always wanted to touch a live parakeet and that day his dream came true.

That really made our day. We’ll go back next time on our own so we wouldn’t be under any time constraints.

Rizal Shrine - Calamba

I first visited Rizal Shrine – Calamba when I was eight years old during our field trip. Now I’m back with my husband to accompany our three year old son on his first ever field trip. It felt very nostalgic and I’m really grateful that I get to be in this historical place again with my family.
We arrived around 7:25am but we have to wait until the Shrine opens at 8:00am
We were standing on a line at first, but having toddlers and pre-schoolers it’s difficult to keep them by the rule. So we end up having our own ways.

I wanted to take a photo of my son standing with the replica of Jose Rizal being taught by his mother Teodora Alonso but he was scared so we decided to just browse through the list of his family instead.

After checking the house we went to a place where Jose Rizal’s achievement, photos and a lot more was preserved. The only picture I was able to take was the statue where he was holding a book. It’s in the lower right part of my collage on top. We were busy reading and running around making sure our son won’t break anything.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay there. It’s really good to keep this place included in field trips of kids 8 years old and below. They may not realize it yet but they will be happy to realize that in the future that they were in a historical place like this sometime ago.
